My art journey started when I signed up for art school in Donetsk, Ukraine from 1999 until 2006. I aimed to be an artist, orchestrating exhibitions and crafting art that evokes profound emotions. When my family relocated to Switzerland, it reshaped my artistic journey, infusing it with new perspectives and experiences.
Residing in Montreux, Switzerland since 2006, my high school years were rich with diverse art projects in my art school, where i tried various art styles and directions. In 2010, I embraced a new challenge, delving into business and economics for my tertiary education.
I did apprenticeship in Montreux, Switzerland and completed my bachelor in International Business Management, in Geneva 2017. I gained a deep understanding of global cultures, trends, and behaviours. This education has shaped my ability to view art not just from a local lens but from a worldwide perspective. The diverse cultures I've studied influence my artwork, making it resonate with a broader audience. In addition I gained skills in project management, strategic planning and market analysis.
With my first earned money from my administrative apprenticeship, I bought my first lens camera and my free time was fully dedicated to photography. As I was coming back to Donetsk on holidays, I started to participate in the Art life of my home town and exhibited my artistic photographs as well as my oil paintings.
Please see below the list of expositions where I participated :
2010 / 2011 - from November 2010 until January 2011 - collective exposition named “Winter Fairy tale” in “House of Artist”, Donetsk
2011 - from March until May - collective exposition named “City of roses and coal mines” in mall “Donetsk city”, Donetsk, Ukraine
2012 - from June until July - participation in collective exposition in Honor of Gallery anniversary of 7 years in “Paduano Arte”, Donetsk, Ukraine
2013 - from January until April - my personal exposition named “Harmony of Contrasts” in Restaurant Platinum located in Donbass Arena Stadium, Donetsk, Ukraine
Since 2016 I started my career in Swiss banking and in the commodity trading sector until 2022, it enriched my analytical and strategic insights. Yet, my heart gravitated towards the world of art where I felt I could make a more profound impact and become closer to myself.
Dealing with various stakeholders in business, especially in trading, means mastering the art of negotiation. This skill is pivotal when navigating the art world, whether it's negotiating with galleries for exhibitions, with buyers for sales, or with fellow artists for collaborations. Moreover, effective communication is key to expressing your artistic vision to audiences, curators, and critics.
