Olga Bobkova, born on the Volga river, in Saratov (Russian) After graduation from the Choreographic school, she moved to Moscow and at the age of 17 was accepted to the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich- Danchenko musical theater, Moscow, with the specialization in classic ballet as a ballet dancer, she danced all classical repertoire there.
At the age of 20, she entered the theater Institute (GITIS) and because of this switch to drama career she was forced to leave the theater. After receiving a diploma of higher theatrical education, Olga decided to continue her creative career as an actress. She worked in the Alexandrinsky theater of St. Petersburg where she took part in various theatrical productions, many of them were nominated for theater awards and got prizes.
Olga worked on TV and acts in films. She invented and developed the programme of dance classes "Body Detox", combining the basics of classical ballet and modern dance.
As theatre director she debuted with the performance "Dance Form", which was shown on the New stage of Alexandrinsky theater.
As a director and a performer she worked on numerous productions such as : "Another painting"/Artefice Gallery/ "Man of Peace" together with the engineering theatre AKHE /St.-Petersburg/. In 2017, project dedicated to Brodsky's work at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts. Orange County. California.
