I graduated from the Stieglitz St. Petersburg
State Academy of Art and Industry (MA). Since 1993, I live in
Jerusalem.
As a New Media artist, I’m interested in how the new
technological reality can interact with us through art. I am delighted by the endless variety of
computer software visual possibilities and by the unexpected results they
produce. For this reason, I describe the modern computer reality as my
coauthor, and define the art created by the two of us as "hybrid" –
i.e., an art produced through a partnership between a human being and a
computer.
I work mostly in 3d modeling and animation, digital graphics, video
art, etc. I’m one of creators (in
collaboration with Elena Serebryakova) of Hybrid Neural Network Art concept,
focused on the challenge of adapting to the dynamic changes taking place in the
world.
