Born in Treviso on 1955, I began drawing and painting
at the age of fourteen. At the beginning of the seventies, together with a
small group of young artists from Treviso, I attended the studio of the painter
Giovanni Biasi, a pupil of Vizzotto Alberti from the Fattori school. From this
association was born the "art collective" which organized an exhibition
at Ca' dei Ricchi in Treviso, in 1972.
Already in those years I began to experiment with
mixed multi-material techniques, while remaining in the figurative expressive
field. In my work, continuing over time, cultural enrichments coexist both in my
humanistic and philosophical education, with a degree in Venice, and in my
subsequent in-depth studies of psychology and in the experiences gained during
repeated stays in India. Here in 1980 I met the spiritual master Osho, from
whom I was given the name Satyam, which in Sanskrit means truth: not a truth
with a capital "T", not an absolute and rigid something, but "the
truth of the moment”, my individual truth, something simple and authentic.
In the second millennium, artistic research is
gradually based on studied chromatic choices, with elaborate compositions
combining elements of the natural world with disused or forgotten objects found
by chance, which I still continues to recycle to create works in which today
the formal aspect merges with the content.
