Lilijana Besednjsk-Kocijančič

I'm retired pediatrician. I have been painting intermittently from1966. I studied at Milena Stepančič and Silvester Komel. I was among the winners of Extempore in Piran (SLO) and Subotica (SRB) in 1969. While studying medicine and researching in the field of allergology I was painting on textiles. At that time I exhibited in local gallery Bažato. I started again painting on canvas five years ago. I'm an abstract expressionist artist who also likes to paint portraits and experiment with graphic methods. I exhibited in Ljubljana (2024) and Nova Gorica (2025). My painting was selected for exhibition at Chianciano Biennale 2026.
