My name is Alice, although in art and for many people I am Peska, a nickname and pseudonym that comes from the art institute and which accompanies me not only in my artistic journey but also in life.
Born under the sign of Leo in July 1988, I have always been creative since I was a child, having my first contact with oil painting at twelve years old, in secondary school, with an expressionist and surrealist imprint.
I attended the P. Selvatico art institute with a focus on Textile Art, obtaining the diploma of Master of Art and Applied Arts.
After some travels and various experiences I started painting again as a self-taught person, finding my characteristic style: soft and sinuous shapes combined with brushstrokes that I like to define as "independent" come together on the canvas, giving life to works with an abstract but also figurative feel.
In 2014 I obtained the professional qualification certificate as a technician for the restoration of cultural heritage which allowed me to delve into technical-scientific issues, giving me the opportunity to work on excellent historical works and buildings including the Palazzo Ducale in Venice.
In the same year, life led me to make important choices, deciding to implement a radical change in the sector, while keeping safety shoes, starting to work in the metalworking field in the family business, while still carrying out artistic exhibitions and listening to my creative spirit.
Since 2020 I have been attracted to the world of ceramics, which, thanks to a basic course, gave me the impetus to start modeling and experimenting with three-dimensionality.
So I purchased my first lathe to work clay, managing to combine artistic manual skills with a passion for plants.
2023 has been a year of great research, listening and working on myself; with the awareness that the message of my soul is the first thing to pursue, I began to create new multi-material installations that I feel fully represent me: they bring with them and speak of all my experiences, knowledge, difficulties and goals.
