My name is Alessandro bellomunno.

I am an Italian chef by trade and an artist by passion.

Art has always been a part of my life. In different shapes and forms. From paintings to sculptures, from sketches to dishes.

In 2007 I graduated from the Art Institute Filippo Palizzi in Naples Italy, and divided myself between my kitchen and my art studio.

For 10 years my profession took me in different cities, both in Italy and abroad, as Naples, Rome, London, Melbourne, where it was not always easy to cultivate my passion.

Until I arrived to Darwin NT where I found my new home. Here the stability and the birth of my daughter Maya, sparked in me the desire to start communicating again through my art and my colours, giving a new sense to my old passion.

And here I am now, an Italian in Australia, playing with palettes, colours and brushes, trying to stop the inexorable running of the time, learning about new cultures and rediscovering myself.
