He combines his passion for photography with a love for travel - he has visited many countries around the world (including Madeira, Philippines, Azores, Tuscany, Germany, Portugal, United Aabian Emirates, Spain, Italy). He prepares photographic documentation of each trip (distant places, landscapes and people), which he then presents at numerous exhibitions, meetings and multimedia shows. He is a member of the Wojnickie Towarzystwo Fotograficzne Fotum, in which he currently serves as a member of the Audit Committee.
Marcin Bawiec is the author and co-author of many photographic exhibitions; individual, collective, post-plein-air, post-competition. He took an active part in the International Photo Salons organized (among others) under the patronage of FIAP, winning many approvals, medals, awards, distinctions, diplomas and congratulatory letters. The aftermath of his participation in the International Photo Salons (under the patronage of FIAP) was the award (in 2017) of the Artiste FIAP (AFIAP) honorary title and (in 2018) the FIAP Excellence (EFIAP) title - by the FIAP International Federation of Photographic Arts (based in Luxembourg) ).
In 2018, he became a liaison officer of PSA (Photographic Society of America) in Poland [5]. In 2019 he obtained the title of ARTIST (A.CPE) in Romania.
In 2018 and 2019 he was a juror of the International Photography Competition. Jan Sunderland "Mountain Landscape" in Nowy Targ.
In 2020, he was honored with another Genius APS (G.APS) photo title - a title awarded by the Agile Photographic Society in Bangladesh.
