Batteux

Julie Batteux, born 1996 in Aachen, is a photographer and painter. Her current project in painting deals with the aesthetics of social networks, in particular their effects on the psyche of users. She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Nuremberg from 2014 to 2022 by Susanne Kühn and Jürgen Teller. In 2022 she completed her studies in fine arts with a diploma and the Academy graduate prize. In 2024, she was awarded the Bavarian Art Promotion Prize. She currently lives and works in Nuremberg.
