Having failed to be born in Venice I can at least take some pride in sharing its possibility.
Venice has the force to make wholeness. In the nebbia, the local fog, all that has form; buildings, people, colonnades, bridges and statues become a mysterious unity. Representing wholeness is significant in my art works, caused by my desire to loose my identity as a separate self and to experience a hidden unity in everyday’s discord, brokenness, contradiction, and discontinuities. An unbroken completeness or totality in which I am included.

Motivation
I have worked on my portraits for over two years now, Time to expose and get feedback on them
Response of the jury and visitors of the exhibition would help me to reflect on my works and find a network.
In the joyeus situation that I would win an amount of money, it would help me to purchase materials for
new work and experiments. A cherished aspiration is to have a sewing machine that makes it possible
to make larger textile portraits and add new technical abilities.
I hope to encounter you at the exhibition in the Arsenale, whether I would be a paticipant or visitor.
My last words too you are "May you live in interesting times" (the theme of La Biennale Di Venezia 2019).
