Piotr Bajtlik, born in 1982 in Mysłowice, Poland, is an artist, actor and photographer based in Warsaw. He graduated from the Theatre Academy in Warsaw in 2005 and worked for many years as an actor at the Polish Theatre in Warsaw. Since 2024 he has been developing his visual practice through photography, video and installation, studying at the Academy of Photography in Warsaw and, from 2025, at the Faculty of Photography at the University of the Arts in Poznań.
His work explores memory, identity, repetition and the unstable status of the image in contemporary digital culture. He often uses private archives, technological systems and algorithmic processes to examine how the self is constructed, fragmented and continuously rebuilt through images.
His recent projects combine photography, video, digital installation and archive based practices, moving between personal experience and broader reflections on visibility, memory and technological mediation.
