A many-faceted and visionary artist, Grazia has always worked in the field of 'figuration', intermediating between traditional painting and photographic technique. Her personal style is strongly marked by the sign, the colour and the light, all components that - from time to time - she mixes and transforms. Her focus is to embody in her works her visions, sometimes fairytale-like and ethereal, sometimes dark and tormented.
After graduating from the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, she taught graphic design for more than 30 years. At the same time, her artistic experience took the form of participation in numerous solo and group exhibitions in various countries around the world, including: 'Pole Star' (1991) Moscow, Russia, 'Total Poetry' (1998) Mantua and Verona, 'Falls' (2006) Niagara-Ontario, Canada, and 'Phenomenology of Light' (2011) New York, USA.
More recently, she has also dedicated herself to sculpture, decoration and interior-design, adopting a more 'material' approach but always characterised by a fluid and dreamlike style. In her most recent pictorial works, she delves into the concept of "archetypes of the collective unconscious", producing series of new large-format works shown in the exhibitions "Ivory Tower" (2021), "Heavenly City" (2022) and "An Invisible World" (2023).
