Hailing from the small Indian Ocean Island of Mahe in Seychelles, Christian Azolan (b.1983) is a visual artist who specialises in photography, digital art, screen-printing and gilding.
He called London home and was educated in the UK, he holds a BA from Ravensbourne and has recently completed his MA in Fine Art from Central Saint Martins. Azolan is inspired by the forces of life that create the natural rhythm of nature in our every day. He is especially pulled towards the awe-inspiring sentient spectacle of colour and energy found in starling murmurations.
The Birds which was inspired by freedom, fantasy, and escapism in flight. His new limited edition fine art print series Murmurations is inspired by the organic movement of starlings, The artworks speak to our humanity and demonstrate how the individual action of one entity can galvanise and empower a group.

In addition to his website, his gallery edition screen prints, originals and fine art prints are available to view at The Gallery at Ice in Windsor, he also participates and presents his artwork at a selection of Art Exhibitions across the UK, Wolverhampton Museum, Holy Art Gallery, Ealing BEAT, Affordable Art Fair, COPA Gallery (Thailand), Lethaby Gallery, Oxo Tower, Bargehouse, The Contemporary of Photography Art and the Art Car Boot Fair.
Azolan regularly visits primary, and secondary schools and educational establishments such as Brunel University and Cambridge University to teach, talk and inspire the next generation of young fine art artists and creatives.
