Pablo Auliso (Montevideo, 1976) Tailor, couturier and modeler (UTU)Popular Educator / Psychosocial OperatorHe graduated from the University of Labor of Uruguay (UTU) in 1999.He graduated from the "School of Social Psychology of Montevideo" in 2016From 1990 to 2000 participates in the painting and sculpture workshop of Sara Venturino.Since 2007 teaches kniting and sewing courses based on recycling in different NGOs.In 2016 he studied writing workshop given by Lilian Toledo and in 2018 with Federico Roca.In 2002 he began his activity as a costume designer developing his work in theater, film, television and advertising. In theater, he works with Gabriel Calderón, Las nenas de Pepe (2007), Ex, that burst the actors (2012), La Mitad de Dios (2013), The Return to the Desert (2018). He also worked with directors such as Jorge Heller, Suka Acosta, Carmina Lebrato, Elizabrth Favat, Hugo Blandamuro, Sandra Masera and Hugo Giaccino. From 2014 to 2015 he was part of the sewing workshop of the National Ballet of SODRE. In 2017 he designed and costumed the opera El Cónsul for the Teatro Solís (National Theater). Design and production of costumes for the National Comedy of Montevideo for the works La Mitad de Dios and La vuelta al desierto.In music he works with bands like ELEFANTE, PLÁTANO MACHO, AGARRAME EL FUNK, the plastic artist and singer Dani Umpi, the lyrical singer Patricia Curzio.Since 2008 he has been part of the scenic group Reversión as a costume designer, with the direction of Fernando Nieto Palladino in the shows of the collective: Quiroga - With the light on (2008), Siete locos (2012), Blu (2013), Mechanical games (2016) and Jezzabel (2017). In 2008 he made his first art / costume exhibition "Las Moscas con pluma" based on the stories of Horacio Quiroga "The pillow of feathers" and "Las moscas" in the "Espínola Gómez" foundation. He debuted in the collective as a playwright and director in the microteatro cycle REVERSIÓN MICRO with his piece Te digo te amo (2016) and Menta (2017).With Menta begins an aesthetic investigation based on camouflage, reaching René, a performance installation selected in the call for new artists in the Subte Exhibition Hall (Montevideo from July to September 2018).In 2010 he was nominated for the Goya awards as best costume design for the movie Paisito.In 2013 and in 2018 he was nominated for the Florencio awards for Uruguayan theater as best costume design.
