I am self-taught metal sculptor specializing in TIG welding stainless steel. Over the past 13 years, I've developed a unique technique - building full-bodied human forms entirely from stainless steel barstock, tubes and rods. I use the TIG welder purely for artistic purposes without any formal training. Through trial and error and experimenting with the welder, I have a unique view and usage of the tool. Along with my grinders, I am able to mold stainless steel like clay with weld build-up. I have specialized in kinetic balancing sculptures that are true to my slogan: "No Magnets, No Magic, Just Physics"
My work gained recognition online through my kinetic balancing sculptures - originally conceived as high end toys and evolving into fine art. One of my sculptures was featured in the major motion picture Free Guy (2021) it can be seen balancing and swinging in the first few moments of the movie. It gained widespread attention online.
Despite that exposure, I remain deeply committed to the craft. My passion for metalwork and sculpture led me to become an airline pilot -
not to leave art behind, but to fund it independently and protect the freedom to create what I love without compromise. That independence allows me to pursue work I'm passionate about, without worrying whether it will sell.
