Artist, designer and scenic designer, owner of the Anselmini Design Studio and
of 4A, a company specializing in interior design and construction,
as well as an artistic and scenographic laboratory. Since 2014 he has been a
lecturer at the Department of Scenography and Design of the LABA Academy of
Fine Arts.
Born and
raised in a family dedicated to interior design for generations, from an early
age he began to work in the production laboratory, and then specialized in
design, with a technical background that only manual work can provide.
During his
studies he began to work as a scenographer and stage technician for various
professional theater companies, also collaborating with important national
permanent theaters.
Today, thanks
to his versatile skills in the field of design and scenography, he can also
boast experiences in television and advertising, while always keeping his great
artistic passion alive and intact.
In 2013, from
the union of these professional skills, the line of furnishing accessories
"Teatro all'italiana" was born, which he designed and built in his
laboratory. It was previewed at the Milan Fuorisalone in 2014 and immediately
after at the 100% Design exhibition in London.
In 2016, for
the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare's death, he was invited by the Colossi
contemporary art gallery to participate in the collective exhibition
"Shakespeare: the substance of man" with his work "The Tempest
of fire in the Globe "alongside artists of international standing.
On November
15 of the same year, the theatrical show IL MISANTROPO by Molière, directed by
Monica Conti, made its debut at the Fontana Theater in Milan, for which he
personally designed and built the entire scenographic system in his
laboratories. Praised by the press who defined the scenography as
"classy" in the article by the critic Franco Cordelli in Corriere
della Sera.
The same show
was included in 2018 in the prestigious Elfo Puccini theater season in Milan.
In 2019 he
was invited with one of his unpublished works entitled "MOODMOON" to
participate in the collective dedicated to the anniversary of the moon landing
at the Colossi Contemporary Art Gallery.
