and Art Directors of Arles Gallery arefirstly two artists who have been
creating together for almost 5 years. From the outset, their intention is to
present their own works and help emerging artists by inviting them to share
this showroom. Their ways of expression are various, photography of course, but
also painting and video experiences. They never gave up despite confinement due
to COVID19. They present three or four exhibition a year, with the aim of
spread their works. They also created three years ago a publishing house you.
They publish several books each year. The editorial line is poetry and images
but they as well publish children’s books. They were supported by renowned
personalities as Jack Lang, Culture Minister or CharlÉlie Couture famous
multiartist. ARLESGALLERY is now one of the most beautiful exhibition space in
Arles. In the heart of the city, this area is 200 m² large with two levels and
composed of three zones.
“Our ambition is to select images at the frontier between photography
and painting. By this way, we believe to have an unusual offer. We have
deliberately chosen the full color digital photo as favourite medium for years
because of the dynamic it adds to the image. We take care our pictures to open
a dialogue between the interiority of the beholder and that of the artist.
Since the very beginning of COVID, we have taken the time to clarify our
choices. What we want to do, the most essential and urgent for us, is to place
the human at the center of our creation. The images we offer you, meet this
requirement. We hope you’ll appreciate our specific approach”.
