Giovanni Angeloro is a visual artist born in the city of
Montreal. Well-traveled, Angeloro has been drawing and collecting art since his
twenties. In 2013, he attended the conferences of three American painters -
Peter Max, Marcus Glenn, and Domenic Pangborn - at an art auction in Boston,
Massachusetts. After having a conversation with Pangborn, Angeloro was inspired
to release and share his artistic imagination through painting.
He has since participated in many national and international
group exhibitions and has held solo exhibitions in Montreal and New York. Some
of his work is on permanent display at the Center for Preventive Medicine and
Physical Activity of the Heart Institute and at the Lino & Mirella Saputo
Theater at the Leonardo da Vinci Cultural Center in Montreal.
He has also donated various abstract artworks to fundraising
auctions to support efforts for Youth Suicide Prevention, Bullying Awareness
and Caregiving to the Elderly. In addition to his artistic career, he supported
several visual artists at all stages of their career and accompanied them in
promoting their art by putting them in contact with other members of the
artistic community and collectors.
In previous years, he has enjoyed positions associated with
communications, human resources, and project management in the aerospace
industry. He holds a Master's degree in English-French Translation from Université
de Montréal, a Certificate in Lean Manufacturing from the Montreal School of
Engineering and Technologies (ETS), and Diplomas in Small Business Mergers
& Acquisitions, as well as in Business Development from SAJE, a Business School that offers consulting, coaching and training services to new entrepreneurs
