In 1997 Angela Maria Piga has graduated in French Literature at Rome University La Sapienza. From 1990 to 2006 she has worked as an art gallerist in Rome, with a special focus on Polish and Hungarian contemporary art. In 2003 she has published her first novel "La Sindrome di Salomone" ("Salomon's Syndrome"). From 2006 to 2009 she was author and host of art and cultural radio programs for Rai International. Since 2009, she has written articles and essays for magazines and art catalogues. In 2016 she co-curated the show "A View of One's Own" at the American Academy of Rome. She has lived in Düsseldorf from 2015 to 2017, where she has started to create her sculptures, expressing her visual and literary background into and through art. She hasn't inserted her biography on her site because she wants the works to speak for themselves.
