Angelique Ellyn Anderson is a New York City based, multidisciplinary digital artist is a graduate of School of Visual Arts (MFA) and Pratt Institute (BA). She develops interactive augmented & virtual reality (AR/VR) experiences, models 3D environments, creates NFTs and loves designing fabric prints. Her background is in fashion, motion graphics and publishing. Her multi-faceted career has spanned from working with Sony, FOX, TimeWarner developing broadband content/websites to illustrating book covers for publishers to fabric prints for various apparel manufacturers. Angelique founded LIQUE Story Studio to develop immersive VR/AR content, children's picture-books, and interactive apps.
After an artist residency with Snapchat 2020, Angelique is an AR Creator contributor. She participated in Oculus Launch Pad in 2017 - 2019, an intense 3-month program, sponsored by Facebook and Oculus to help creators develop their AR/VR projects. She is now an ongoing Oculus Start fellow. She continues to exhibit art projects in New York City at Chelsea galleries. Her work has been published in the Leonardo, the ISEA catalogue and adorns the covers of Avalon Books -Thomas Bouregy, NY (Amazon). As an Asst. Art Director at Harlem School of Arts, NYC, she taught youth and conducted workshops in traditional printmaking, digital art and web-design. She mentored HarlemLive, a teen outreach-afterschool program.
