Giuliana
Amorosi, on canvas Jule. Starting from the first solo exhibition in 2014, she
moved her artworks around Italy and over country, receiving art recommendation
and meeting several art masters.
In 2016,
with the photographer Vittoria di Vitto raised the art exhibition “Outsider-s”
dedicated to David Bowie, a collective show that mixed artists and disciplines
in a former slaughterhouse, opened only for the exhibition after 40years.
In 2017 she
had her son, pregnancy and maternity are a new blue sky of ideas that crashed
in a sea of creativity when she paints directly with her son, living with him
and transforming their home in a factory, an atelier with no limits for imagination.
The artist studio is the kitchen, she used oil, she used eggs for colours, she
mixed, she often has “finger in the pie”, but very rarely she really cooks.
During those
years she continued to create, to share her art and supporting artists doing collective
show and when the pandemic forced to stop this king of events, she invented,
during the lockdown, the “stay at home is sexy” game: anyone who used the hashtag
‘stay at home is sexy’, enjoying life at home, and shared it in the IG stories,
got an original portrait. A couple of months later the lockdown was almost finished
and the portraits are more than 200 hundred. For Jule was an incredible experience
of drawing and above all a wonder sensation for being “close” to people and
giving them few minutes of happiness thanks to art.
This year
with her friend and photographer Vittoria, opened “Stanze” along with the
re-opening of the M.I.D.A. Museo Internazionale della Donna nell’arte, created in
the early 2000s by the master Lino Alviani was the second museum after the Washington
one ’National Museum of Women in the arts’ to be dedicated to international women
artists. Stanze Museum is a recreative space, where artworks are collocated in their
rooms and spaces dedicated, built and based on the real home spaces of the two artists
who picking up personal objects, books, vintage pieces and furniture, realized
a perfect home, contextualised every single artwork, with the aim that artworks
and objects, becoming familiar with the spectator, can communicate, can talk and
giving a strong perception of warmth.
Jule
firmely believes in the central role of woman, such a figure that could harmonized
universe, who has touch with nature and creatures, and in spite some of extreme
feminist affirmations, she embraced female and male, because a huge freedom, an
unconditional liberty needs an extended knowledge, so that knowledge must be completed
as much as possible.
