Elia Alunni started drawing and being attracted by art at a young age. Since 2000, he has tried various art techniques, such as printmaking, ink drawing, color pencil, painting, sculpture, digital art and fashion design. More recently, his work has focused on oil and acrylic painting, using contemporary material combined with traditional techniques. In 2019 hi was selected in a collective exhibition at the "24° Concorso Nazionale d’Arte Contemporanea Saturarte 2019". Genova, Italy. with the recognition of "featured artist". In the same year hi was chosen in a Collective exhibition, his first exposition inside a museum at the "30° Biennale Internazionale dell’Umorismo nell’Arte". Tolentino, Macerata, Italy. In 2016 His art works were shown in a solo exibithion for three months in the city center of Sydney. Also His art works have been featured in many exhibitions, art festivals and cultural centers throughout Perugia, in Italy, including a Fashion show in 2008. In 2009, Elia opened a Fashion Design Studio, called “La Cruna”, where he designed and made women’s clothing and clothing accessories. He also decorated jeans, trousers and skirts applying many different kinds of fabrics to old pieces in order to create unique products. In addition, “La Cruna” hosted his permanent art exhibition. During that period, he also worked as Artist’s assistant to Franco Venanti. In 2011, he won the Third Prize at the competition “Creativi under 30” in the city of Grosseto, Italy. Elia creates visual art because he believes the power of visual communication is limitless and can be understood anywhere in the world, transcending as it does the limits of any particular spoken language. In his opinion, visual art can make this world a better place, in which gracefulness and beauty are the key for empathize with the human being.
