From a young age flying over the Australian outback has coloured and moulded my way of seeing the world. Making sense of images and landscapes from above has been a life work, and the patterns and 'man marks' left on lands have been my language of connection.

A career straddling 35 years, with annual solo exhibition around the world, from Sydney, London and New York to Paris, Hong Kong and Tokyo art has allowed me to not only travel extensively but to educate and share a way of seeing the landscape as a place imprinted with the meaning, history and passion of habitation over centuries. The patterns we leave on the ground mimic often the patterns we adorn ourselves with as a token of belonging to that place or people, where the stories we tell ourselves of ancestry and belonging become part of the landscape we inhabit and the imagery and colours give up our deepest fears, victories and betrayals.
