Collecting the treasures of the sea to transmit its messages
After 15 years communicating for major brands, Aliette resumed her studies in art. In 2011 Aliette obtained a degree in Fine Arts, a degree in Art History, a diploma in Fine Arts (E.S.A) and a specialization in Art Therapy (AFRATAPEM).
In 2004, the tsunami in Indonesia upset her and triggered a deep feeling about climate change. The following year, she created a work with sea knives glued in a mosaic in a linear way and ordered like a genetic code. This work triggered a change in her artistic approach and imposed her very personal signature.
She shows her work in 2012 with a Land Art installation at the Musée de Plein Air in Villeneuve d'Ascq. This event launches her professional career. On this occasion, she meets Hervé Maupin, artist and art lover who discovers her work and convinces her to present her paintings of knives at the Cultural Space of Bondues near Tourcoing in 2013. This will be her first solo exhibition. In 2016, she is selected for the international prize of Mosaic of Chartres.
Plastic artist. Aliette lives and works in Wambrechies where she initiates young and old to the fundamentals of plastic arts. She opened her gallery OYAT (Open Your Art) in Hardelot in 2017. Her paintings, sculptures and installations of shells are presented in Hardelot, Knokke le Zoute in Belgium. Her solo and group exhibitions are hosted in France, Belgium, Germany and the U.S.A. A career of nearly 10 years in salons and art centers as well as artist and curator mixing all arts.
