"Denise Aimar was born in 1991 in Turin.
Since little she has curiosity for the
balance of the images.
As soon as she discovered
the reality of photography
became deeply involved in capturing
those fleeting moments."
Graduated in Design and Visual Communication, as far as image is concerned, Denise Aimar is a visual designer specialized in graphic design, photography and videography.
She lives and works as a digital nomad based in Turin, by experimenting most of the time, working closely with other designers, architects, and engineers.
On her journey she has the chance to meet one the most important Italian Photography's Master - Franco Fontana - which is eye-opening, becoming a significant inspiration for life. She does assistant to Franco Fontana in his workshops for two years, getting involved in his collective exhibitions.
Lastly she approaches the performance art, in 2018 she won the funding "ORA!X_Strade per creativi under 30" from the Foundation Compagnia di San Paolo, with an informal collective of artists and designers. She collaborates in the ideation and management of Zona Martiska project with the aim of connecting dance, technology and architecture. The project Zona Martiska investigates space through a new system of interaction made possible by technology, it made a successful debut in November 2019, opening the exclusive location Serra del Castello della Mandria (Turin) for the first time in twenty years.
In 2019 she co-founded Klak - Stories for artists with other two Italian visual artists in order to create a container of stories for artists.
Klak - stories for artists allows each artist to communicate his story through images. A visual itinerant laboratory among Europe which makes use of photography, graphics and videography as means of communication to produce visual stories.
