Ahn, Jisoo is a multidisciplinary artist, who lives and works in Paris. Inspired by existential questions such as Who are we? Where are we from? Where are we going?, she focuses on the relationship between time and being. After her pilgrimage from Saint-Jean Pied de Port to Santiago de Compostela, she made a sculpture titled, Autoportrait: foot of the past and foot of the future (2016), and a series of monotypes titled, Ascension (2016). Recently, her works were exhibited at the Arsenal in Venice (2023), at the Palace Pàlffy in Vienna (2022), at the Misericordia Archives Cannaregio in Venice (2021-2022), Castello Angioino-Aragonese in Aragonese di Agropoli in Italy (2019). She is expecting another exhibition at the CICA museum in Seoul this September (2023).
