Graduated with a Master's degree from the National School of Fine Arts of Côte d'Ivoire (within INSAAC) in 2018, Theophany began participating in the "Grand Prix GUY Nairay" organized by Houkami Gallery in Abidjan as early as 2016. In 2017, he took part in the group exhibition themed "ART & US" and then participated in a workshop organized by the Swiss collective Klaym, which brought him to the attention of Nice magazine. This publication led him to win the Swiss Design Award in 2018, followed by participation in the UNSEEN fair in Amsterdam. Theophany held his first solo exhibition at Plaza Café in Abidjan in 2019.
In 2021, he participated in the group exhibitions "DemocraSEE" and “Abidjan Street Act #1: From the Street to the MuCAT” at the Adama Toungara Museum in Abidjan. With LouiSimone Guirandou Gallery, Théophany Adoh was part of the fourth edition of Découvertes and exhibited at the French Institute of Abidjan in 2022, then took part in the group exhibition The Power of Love in 2023.
In September 2024, he joined an artist residency at Loman Art Gallery in Dakar. The work produced during this residency was exhibited in the OFF program of the Dakar Biennale in November 2024, as part of the group show The Echo of Heritage (Partcours 2024)
