Biography
Tori Min ( Adamova Tetiana) was born in 1977 in Nikopol, Ukraine. Until 2022, she had never practiced painting. After the war began, she relocated to Belgium, where she picked up watercolor for the first time. This moment marked not only the start of her artistic journey but also a way to speak — without words — about what had been lived through.
Today, Tori Min works in a contemporary style, creating abstract works where watercolor and paper become a language of memory, pain, and personal experience. Through rips, burns, and deformations, she leaves visible traces of what has passed through the body and life. Paper offers space to endure; watercolor offers a way to release.
She is currently studying at an art school in Belgium and has held her first solo exhibition. Her ongoing series transforms trauma into form — quiet, physical, and real.
