Ashleigh Abbott is an artist from the United States who works in sculpture, installation, painting, photography and new media. She is currently residing in Albuquerque, NM, with her two young daughters and husband, where she is finishing a B.F.A. in Fine Arts at the University of New Mexico (graduating spring 2021.) She holds an additional B.U.S. degree in the fields of photo documentary, pre-medical sciences, sustainability and dance. She has traveled and lived around the world collecting stories. She endlessly intrigued by humanity. In her work commonly held ideas about philosophy, heritage and race, gender and obligation, history, social contracts and so-called unshakable truths are approached with deep curiosity and speculation.
