PIETRO ABBAGNATO was born in Rovigo, Italy in 1962 where he still lives, and has always been passionate about photography, a passion passed on from his father. 

Starting from 2014, after a long interruption, he found inspiration in the area where he lives, the Po Delta Park, and began to take black and white shots with a minimalist and sometimes even abstract approach, his becomes a narrative of a dreamlike landscape, suspended between dream and reality, at the same time fantasy but realistic. 

He continues his personal photographic research now directed towards the exclusive use of the square format in the composition of images.
