Textile, Leather and Design in Zagreb. Inspired by the life and work of
Jacksons Pollock, she graduated in 1995 at the Textile Design Department.
In the class of Professor Frano Paro (Master
painting and graphics) she graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb in
2000. During the course of the study, she participated in a field teaching in
Motovun (1997); the Vrbnik graphic academy (1998) and the Gutenberg Museum's
workshop on the theme "Gutenberg 2000" in Mainz. In the year 2000, as
an international exchange student, she attended Indiana University of
Pennsylvania in the United States for one semester, where she worked on her
graduate thesis "Promised Land".
After studying, she worked at the Gallery
Antun Augustinčić as a guide and associate on projects and exhibitions. She
worked for the next three years in primary and secondary schools as a professor
of art and art history, and a cultural-historical heritage of Croatia. Along
with the job she paints constantly, exhibits at stand-alone and group
exhibitions, holds workshops for children and adults, writes stories for
children, and deals with illustrations and designs. Her love for books and
literature she expressed as a degree in Information Science - librarianship at
the Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb. She then worked for five years as the head
of the City Library Antun Mihanović in Klanjec and took a professional exam for
the Graduate Librarian (2011).
She was co-presiding the Borough Administrative
Board for the next three years and has become president of the Cultural Council
of Krapina-Zagorje County. Through this period, she organizes children's
festivals, group exhibitions and projects. She has created a visual identity
for numerous associations and the Klanjec Cultural Center. She had fourteen
independent and twenty group exhibitions in Croatia and abroad. Participates in
art professional workshops. She is the winner of Zagrebacka Banka's award for
the most successful graduates of the Academy of Fine Arts of the University of
Zagreb and several awards for artistic creativity. She is the winner of the 8th
Zagorje Art Salon Award. Combining her experience and knowledge, she launches her
own CityArtStudio creative center, which is presented through art, design, theater
and creative workshops and projects.
