Loching Lam, the founder of Soy sola, learnt rattan weaving in Kyoto with local artisan before. She started the brand in 2016 afterwards. The brand targets on creating rattan products and also explores different forms of weaving art. She wishes to preserve the traditional craftsmanship meanwhile to enrich it by other art forms, hence to create a diverse rattan weaving.
