Isabela Couto graduated in Visual Arts at the University of Brasília - UnB (2014). She has works in private collections, exhibited regularly since 2014. In 2019 she was nominated for the Pipa Award, one of the most important Brazilian art awards. She held his first individual in 2017 at the Galeria Elefante Cultural Center curated by Cinara Barbosa. Already she was awarded with Conexão Cultura to participate in the Serra Bonita artistic residence in Bahia, Instituto Uiraçu. In Rio de Janeiro was selected to integrate São João artistic residence, linked to the Park Lage, with supervision of Franz Manata & Saulo Laudares. Made expedition in the Amazon Forest to perform artistic works. Its theme of study is the investigation of the segregation / integration of the human being in nature. Isabela takes on a study group with artists from the city to investigate themes related to nature.
