Material: Multi-layered construction of laser-cut steel • Profiles mounted with spacing for 3D depth
“Contour of Grace” is a sculptural homage to the timeless elegance of the human body. The feminine silhouette emerges through layered steel profiles that draw a figure into space — clearly defined yet permeable.
Each horizontal line precisely follows the curves of the natural form, intentionally leaving open spaces. Light and shadow interact with these gaps, making the form appear alternately solid and weightless. What seems like a static sculpture reveals rhythmic liveliness through movement.
This work explores the dialogue between materiality and lightness — balancing architectural structure with organic softness.

“For me, elegance means reduction to the essential. This work is not a body in the classical sense — but a contour of air and steel that fills the eye without displacing the space.” — Wildstahl
