This project is part of a series of site-specific installation "Climbing ivy" around the topic of "Nature survival". I have started this research right after moving to the US in 2010, surprised by the huge number of empty buildings, left unused for many years and today in decay. Nature seems to come back taking over the space was token "her" away. The installation is made out of local newspapers with a structure in iron wire, and dives deep into the thought of sustainability and reuse of sources. I like to think how Nature finds always a way to regenerate like in ghost cities, growing and covering each building almost entirely.
