The term IDENTIFICATION (Freud) indicates the process through which each person, to build their own personal identity, assimilates one. People grow up in a specific social environment, such as a school, are more or less influenced by other groups. It cannot be said that you are a fully mature individual who can think independently. Many labels will be added to your identity. Likewise, when a person completely conforms to the crowd, he also loses his own identity.
