Silent Geometry

This large-scale abstract work is created on hanji (traditional Korean paper) using collage and mineral pigments. Layers of reddish-brown and deep blue overlap and seep into one another, forming a gentle yet resolute sense of structure across the surface. Irregular geometric planes intersect, generating spatial depth, while subtle color bleeding and textures evoke a surface layered with time and memory. The contrast and layering of colors infuse quiet tension into the still composition, inviting viewers to slowly discover meaning within the boundaries of form and color. Combining traditional materials with an Art Informel sensibility, this piece captures the moment where materiality meets emotion.
