I use printmaking as a way to respond to a world filled with political uncertainty. Each deep cut I carve is a wound—echoing the pain, fear, and resilience of those living under instability and threat.
The Russia-Ukraine war deeply affected me. Now Iran–Israel war. As a Taiwanese, the growing tensions with China have made me anxious about our future. Through this work, I express my own fear, uncertainty, and reflection on the fragile peace we live in.
The hands above represent the world’s most powerful—those who pursue power at any cost, even if it means sacrificing innocent lives and destabilizing nations. This piece is a call for responsibility, and a reminder of the human cost behind every political decision.
