Summer I is a textile work combining screen printing and painting on coarse fabric. Repeated printed elements form a rhythmic base, which is then altered and expanded through hand-painted layers.
The material plays an active role in the process: color is absorbed unevenly, edges remain visible, and layers overlap. Traces of making, imperfection and manual intervention are intentionally preserved.
The work reflects transformation and memory as physical processes, expressed through material, surface and layered color rather than figurative representation.
