It's a
painting based on fresco technique. It's not the same, but the
result achieved using lime, water, and pigments creates a very natural effect.
This, combined with different surface preparations, gives me the possibility to
create various emotional effects.
It makes
part of project "Resilience". When I observe nature,
which after a storm, after a river in flood, returns to life strong and lush, I
imagine that we too can overcome the challenges that life presents us. My art
thus becomes a celebration not only of beauty (which I see in each detail), but
also of the strength of life. A pile of reeds brought back by the river flood,
a skull found, a turtle survived, reed roots brought to bare, a vineyard post
among the river pebbles... sad images, but in my opinion also beautiful! The
works created during this period are a tribute to the resilience of the nature.
