My work explores the interplay of polyhedral structures, light, and perception. Geometry, a symbol of order, becomes fluid when activated by light. Using materials with varying transparency and reflectivity, my installations transform with movement, dissolving boundaries and reshaping forms.
Light destabilizes spatial perception. Through refraction, shadow, and reflection, geometry transcends static definitions, shaped by observation and environment. Audience interaction is integral—their movement defines the experience, making the work ever-changing.
This exploration is influenced by my time in high-altitude regions, where unique light conditions altered my spatial perception. Renaissance artists studied perspective and light to understand order, while architects like Buckminster Fuller reimagined polyhedra as functional systems. My work continues this dialogue, balancing rationality and intuition, embracing uncertainty, and inviting viewers to rediscover space and perception.
