2007 Graduated Art and Architecture School of Waseda University.
My work is also a medium for reading and thinking about the place where it is installed, the people, nature and social conditions around it, how they relate to each other and to the wider surroundings, how the landscape is connected, how the place will change in the future, from the familiar to the expanding landscape. It is also a medium for reading and thinking about these things. I use this medium as a way to think about how places, things and events are connected, using patterns composed of simple geometry and the characteristics of materials, mainly in sculptures, installations and photographic works. I think I am exploring how the world is, how each place, each thing and each thing is connected to the other.
The artworks are like devices for connecting the many things that are scattered across this expanding landscape.
