Li Hao is an artist known for large-scale public art commissions and site-specific installations that explore reflection, color, transparency, and spatial perception. His work activates environments through light, polyhedral structures, and audience interaction, creating evolving dialogues between space, technology, and form.
Beyond sculpture, he founded Program SPARK, a socially engaged art initiative collaborating with marginalized communities, particularly among China’s Yi and Bai ethnic groups. Through co-created public art, the project amplifies underrepresented voices and explores art as a tool for social change and cultural dialogue.
Li Hao’s practice investigates how geometry and light reshape perception. Influenced by time spent in high-altitude regions, he examines how spatial awareness shifts under unique light conditions. In works like Pop Star – Labyrinth, he integrates AI-driven models trained on personal and cultural datasets, merging algorithmic intelligence with sculpture. His work fosters collective experiences, inviting reflection on identity, technology, and contemporary sculptural practice.
