You Are Enough is a 3 decades long self-portrait by Nirit Zer.

It all began in 1995, in a New York City nightclub.
I had just landed in the most exciting city in the world. I had an open ticket, two oversized bags, and one explosive heart ready to take over the world.

That night, I took the first self-portrait in what would later become my life project.

Since then, I’ve been creating endless self-portraits, all a part of You Are Enough , in every possible medium: photography, painting, illustration, digital art, 3D, home videos, ready-mades, installations, text, textile, and virtual media.

Each work carries the name of the date it was created.
Each one reflects who I was at that exact moment in time.

You Are Enough is a visual diary.
An ever changing mega self-portrait.
A 30 year autobiography.                                                                                                               An archive of being a woman in the world.

The project exists both virtually and physically:
Each portrait is a limited edition tangible piece (1/16).

Nirit Zer holds a BFA from the School of Visual Arts (SVA) in New York.
