Read MoreGiovanni Valiante was born in Maratea on March 25, 1993, in a small maritime town with a main vocation toward tourism. He grew up in a large family and developed from an early age a passion for mathematics, philosophy, art and "beautiful things." He focuses on his passion for logic and rationality and begins his studies by directing himself toward scientific subjects, always secretly cultivating his love for painting, poetry and in general for the expression of his inner self. He moved to Milan to undertake university studies in engineering and to escape from a world that was beginning to get too close to him. Having completed his studies, he began a career in multinational corporations related to his course of study and mainly directed toward business. He finds an aversion to that type of employment early on, and although he succeeds in achieving excellent results, he continues to search for a place in the world other than this one. The search for an answer to the questions concerning existence pushes Giovanni closer and closer to the world of art, which has always been considered for him as the treasure chest of truths, as the story of the inner self, as the possibility of existing outside himself. In 2023, after his second experience in the company, which was always unfulfilling, he decided to abandon this career and devote himself to design and the search for beauty, directing himself toward an artisan reality where he can better express his creativity, but always preserving the will to make art, to create something that can exist and reveal a new point of view to those who come into contact with it.
