Marzieh Poozesh Shirazi is an Iranian multidisciplinary artist. Her practice spans digital art, painting, resin, fashion design, and wood-based media. Trained in both music and law, she later pursued her passion for visual storytelling through digital design programs in Iran, Canada, and the UAE, earning international certifications in the field.
Her work is rooted in personal and collective trauma—specifically, the psychological and emotional wounds caused by medical negligence, which she personally experienced from birth. This profound encounter shaped her perspective, leading her to research trauma psychology and reflect it through powerful visual narratives.
Her art explores themes of identity, judgment, vulnerability, and inner strength. She sheds light on the lives of those who have been marginalized or misunderstood, aiming to empower them through visual recognition. Drawing inspiration from abstract and realist styles, her compositions often emphasize blue and white as symbolic of human vitality and rebirth.
She has exhibited her work internationally and nationally, including at:
Art & Antique Exhibition, Istanbul, Turkey (2025)
Netherlands Art Exhibition, Netherlands (2025)
Yalda Art Exhibition, Iran (2024)
Nature Art Showcase, Iran (2025)
Through her work, she invites viewers to reframe pain as a source of resilience—and to rediscover beauty in fractured stories.
