Born in Cesena in 1987, she has participated in various
competitions, solo and group exhibitions.
She obtained the I level Diploma at the Academy of Fine Arts
of Bologna with sculpture address and the sculpture course of the Specialistic
Two-year course at the Academy of Fine Arts of Urbino, in which she played the
role of tutor for the section of sculpture in the a.y. 2014-2015 and 2019-2020;
by obtaining the second level diploma in the a.y. 2014-2015.
Winner of the 'Franco Zeffirelli' scholarship, she perfected
her training at the Academy of Art of the Newington Cropsey Foundation in
Hastings on Hudson (NY) and the Art Student's League of New York.
She currently teaches pattern making at the Free Academy of
Fine Arts in Rimini.
In 2015 she made her debut with her first solo exhibition
"A comfortable bed", where she presented a selection of unpublished
works in marble at the Studio Toselli in Bologna. Her second personal
exhibition is from 2017 at the Rocca Rangoni in Spilamberto (Modena). A new
research that sees marble as the essential cornerstone of highly suggestive
conceptual works, in 2018 "Radices omnium" curated by Alessandro Mescoli
at the CRAC space in the province of Modena and finally in 2020 at the Museum
of Contemporary Art in Pietrarubbia (PU ); in 2022 "Pink line" within
the land art review of Cavriago (RE). In 2023 a solo exhibition inside the
spaces of the “Provincia Autonoma di Trento” palace curated by the Gallery
“Studio Buonanno Arte Contemporanea”. In 2024, there will be a two-person
exhibition “Echoes” at the prestigious spaces of the Phidias gallery in Reggio
Emilia, curated by Francesca Baboni and Stefano Taddei. In January 2025, the
four-handed artwork created by Marika Ricchi and Michelangelo Galliani was
inaugurated, located in the church of San Giovanni Battista Decollato in
Modena.
In recent years there have been numerous participations in
important private and public group exhibitions and national and international
awards, including: in 2023 she participates in the V edition of the
International Triennial of Ceramics at the National Museum of Slovenia,
Ljubljana, in 2022 "Art Stays" in Ptuj also in Slovenia. In the same
year "Domina bianco" curated at the Museum of Contemporary Art in
Pietrarubbia , “Be the difference with art” in the Canova Museum in Possagno.
From 2021 is the collective "Insinuarte" curated by Mariaimma Gozzi,
at Palazzo Sforza Cesarini in Genzano di Roma and "Ultraromanticismo"
at Palazzo Ducale in Pavullo nel Frignano.
In 2020 she won the Panzini Prize 8th edition, the Soncino
Biennale of 2019, "Nella mente di chi guarda" collective exhibition
at the church of S. Giovanni Battista in Modena; winner of the First Prize at
the UNESCO international sculptor forum "Carrara creative city" in
2019, Villa Sistemi Reggiana Award "Between shipwrecks and flights"
in 2018, the "Cramum Award" at Villa bagatti Valsecchi also in 2018,
"Art Award 2017" at Palazzo Reale di Milano, Soncino Biennial 2017,
Nocivelli Prize 2017, Garten 2018 and 2016, at Villa Rovere di Correggio
(Reggio Emilia), the Combat Prize of Livorno and the Catel prize of Frascati.
In 2015 she was invited to participate in the sculpture biennial
of Piazzola sul Brenta (Vicenza). Also in 2015, "Nutrimentum" was
inaugurated at the Orto dell'Abbondanza in Urbino, a collective exhibition
inside the Bourbon fortress of Civitella del Tronto. Also "Man and
spirituality" in the evocative setting of Villa Necchi in Gambolò di
Pavia. In May of the same year she won the international prize for sculpture
Edgardo Mannucci in Arcevia, Ancona.
She currently lives and works in the province of Reggio
Emilia.
