Aida Pouryeganeh is a contemporary Iranian artist based in London with ten years of formal art education, including a BA in Painting, an MA in Illustration, and an MA in Fine Art (Distinction). Her foundation lies in painting, which remains at the core of her practice.
Her current work explores themes of displacement, control, memory, and resistance. Deeply shaped by personal and collective experiences, especially as a woman navigating systemic oppression, her practice is intuitive and process-driven. She works spontaneously, allowing gesture, movement, and emotional intensity to shape each piece.
