Nino Perrone was born in Bari, where he works in his studio in Piazza Chiurlia 4. He graduated from the Bari State Institute of Art, has won numerous awards and participated in various impromptu and numerous collective and personal exhibitions, including: Michelangelo gallery in Bari; personal gallery Le Muse of Bari; personal gallery of Modern Art Alba in Ferrara; Nuova Vernice gallery Bari; personal gallery Bonan Studio D'Arte Due in Venice. Winner in 1984 of a national painting competition organized by Giorgio Mondadori, judged by Oreste Del Buono, Alberico Sala, Giorgio Soavi, Mario Spagnol, he exhibited as winner of the competition in the “Rizzardi” gallery in via Brera in Milan, and subsequently in the “Rizzardi” gallery Il Parametro” in via Margutta in Rome. He repeated the competition in 1986 and, judged by Carlo Castellaneta, Raffaele Crovi, Raffaele De Grada, Mario De Micheli, Bruno Munari, won again, exhibiting first in the “Salomon Auguston & Algranti” galleries via Sant'Eufemia in Milan and, once again, in the “Il Parametro” gallery in Rome. Among the numerous collective exhibitions we mention: Expo Arte di Bari, exhibition in various Apulian castles - including Bitritto, Trani, Valenzano - and in the Svevo castle of Bari, in the important collective Arte in Regione". In the last year he has actively collaborated with the international Engravers association of Rome, with which he exhibited in the "Casetta della Musica" in Latina and, subsequently, for the "Luigi Faccioli" Foundation in Rome. He recently participated from 27 June to 24 July in the collective "Spoleto Arte" curated by Vittorio Sgarbi, at Palazzo Leti Sansi, set up in the context of the Festival dei 2 Mondi di Spoleto,
on 23 October at the international collective “La Grande Exposition Universelle – The exhibition inside the Eiffel Tower” at the Salon Gustave Eiffel in Paris (exhibited painting: MAROSO – oil on canvas 100x80 - 2013), in October 2014 at the international collective “Spoleto meets Venice” at Palazzo Falier in Venice, in January 2015 at the International Biennial of Palermo at the Loggiato S. Bartolomeo (painting exhibited: CONNESSIONE – oil on papier-mâché 70x66.5 – 2004) and at the Canova Museum in Possagno (TV). The artistic work of Nino Perrone is present in two different publications published in 2014: "ASTRATTISM" history and evolution from the origins to today for the series "The jewels of Art" Swing editions - Rome and Art paths edited by Enzo Le Pera, publishing house “Rubettino” In September 2015 he will participate in the international art exhibition “Premio Sulmona” and in December in Vienna at the “Burn in gallery” gallery. Also in 2015 he took part in the San Valentino Arte-Vico del Gargano. His next commitments include participation in the “LONDON CALLING” exhibition at The Crypt Gallery, Euston Road in London which will be held from 31 May to 6 June 2016, and in the BeneBiennale 2016 in Benevento 2nd Edition from 2nd to 17th July In 2017 he was invited by BIBART, the international art biennial of Bari and the metropolitan area. In 2018 he participated in Moscow with ITALIART KREMLIN with two works and again in 2018 he was present in a collective exhibition in Venice at the EUROPA PAVILION curated by Gianni Dunil. Invited again by the ASBAEDIZIONI publishing house for the series - Percorsi d'Arte. Still present in 2019 and included in the Atlas of Contemporary Art published by De Agostini and subsequently with a solo show in Vienna in the BURN-IN gallery from 02 to 31 May. Subsequently, in the month of October he presents a solo exhibition in Venice at the Biblioteca del Teatro Contemporaneo Europeo - Palazzo Albrizzi Capelli, Cannareggio 4118, with the support of critical texts by - Daniele Radini Tedeschi, Gianni Dunil, Stefania Pieralici, Maria Luciani, Vittorio Sgarbi and Philippe Daverio.
In 2020, in May/June he will be present in Milan with a solo show at Officine Daverio in via Bertarelli, presented by Philippe Daverio himself. In 2021 he participated in the TRIENNALE DI ROME and in October of the same year, always in the same year, collective XLVIII SULMONA PRIZE and personal exhibition in Rome in via Margutta at Tiziana Todi's Vittoria gallery "ICONIC ANICONISM" with presentation by the critic Giorgio Di Genova. With the same gallery he participated in the collective exhibitions "MASCHERINE DELLA VITTORIA" a project by INMI LAZZARO SPALLANZANI "in 2020 "RED ZONE" February 2021 and "IMMERSIONI" in May 2021. Subsequently always invited by the critic Prof Giorgio Di Genova and the journalist Carla Guidi to participate in the volume "ART QUINTETS", paradigmatic exhibitions and showcases of invisibility published in February 2021 by ROBIN EDIZIONI. Always present in the series: Art paths by ASBA EDIZIONI and in 2022 a collective START “CONGIUNTI” project in CANNES and NOVARA. Present at the 59th INTERNATIONAL ART EXHIBITION - VENICE BIENNIAL - GRENADA PAVILION April/November 2022 and finally in Treviso "ASPECTS OF ART" collective at "CASA DEI CARRARESI in May 2022.
