My name is Colombe Oliveira Joao, I am 28 years old, and a self-taught artist with a lifelong passion for creation. After exploring different forms of expression (painting, drawing, photography, theater, and dance). I chose painting and drawing as my primary mediums, through which I continue to develop my artistic universe.

Inspired by Fauvism, Naïve Art, and Expressionism, I create works where color plays a central role. Bold, vibrant tones become a language of their own, carrying emotions and symbols. Every shape and line is conceived as an intention that goes beyond aesthetics, inviting deeper reflection and resonance.

I mainly paint still lifes, as I believe our everyday surroundings are filled with hidden signs and symbols. Through these compositions, I aim to reveal the depth and poetry of the ordinary, transforming familiar objects into bearers of meaning and narrative.
